What happens when a film director becomes post-production editor? Andrea Caccia has put together a participatory documentary in which the stage is left to teenagers, who within the choreography of a diary, tell their stories ‘in progress’. Having established an understanding of trust with the kids, the director stole some of their personal moments from a day in their lives, to create a narrative captured on mobile phones, in private moments, and transferred to the big screen, before a public audience.

A post-modern hyper-diary presented at last year’s Venice Film Festival.
